Florida State Council Charity Raffle Rules - 2026-2027

Raffle Overview

The Florida State Council, Knights of Columbus, will conduct a state-wide raffle with the proceeds going to raise funds for local affiliated councils as well as for Florida K of C Charities, Inc.

Participation and Ticket Purchases

Raffle books containing 4 raffle tickets each will be distributed directly to local councils during the State Convention. The number of books each council receives will be based on 50% of the council's membership. Suggested donation is $3.00 per ticket, or $10 per book, however, there is no fee to participate**. Council members and Councils sell the tickets. The council will send a check payable to Florida K of C Charities, Inc. for $5.00 per book distributed, while retaining the other $5.00 designated for the council's charitable programs.

Drawing Schedule

In addition to the final drawing, there will be two other drawings for the members who are collecting donations, "Quick Start" and "Early Bird" drawings will be conducted for ticket book solicitors only. To be

eligible for these drawings, ticket book solicitors must return the back cover, tickets, and donations collected by the dates indicated. After the Spring meeting drawing, there is no need to return the solicitor page.

All checks and ticket books with staple removed must be mailed to the Raffle Chairman:

Jerry Graceffo, Jr., 5250 Napoli Run, Bradenton, FL. 34211.

There will be two preliminary drawings and one final Grand Prize drawing.

Quick Start: One ticket solicitor wins $250 in the drawing to be held during the Mid-Year meeting on December 4, 2026.

Early Bird: The drawing will take place at the FSC Board meeting on March 12, 2027. One winner will be awarded $400.

Grand Prize: The final drawing will be held at the Florida State Council Annual Convention Dinner, May 28, 2027, in Orlando, Fl.

Prizes: Total Prizes $33,600

1st Prize $25,000             2nd Prize $5,000         3rd Prizes (2) $1,000 each

Solicitors/Sellers Prizes:       

1st prize winning ticket gets $500.

2nd prize winning ticket gets $250.

3rd prize winning ticket wins $100.

Official Rules

    • A random drawing of tickets received.
    • Winners need not be present to win.
    • Contributions to the Florida State Council Knights of Columbus Charity Raffle are not deductible as a charitable donation for federal income tax purposes.
    • All prizes paid by Florida State Council Knights of Columbus.
    • Must be 18 years old or older to participate or win prizes.
    • Official numbered tickets only, no photocopy, reproductions or other forms accepted, cannot be combined, sold or re-distributed. Tickets have No commercial value.
