About Recovery Sunday
Recovery Sunday is a weekend charitable event in which contributions collected by the Knights of Columbus are donated to Guest House in support of Catholic clergy and women and men religious in need of healing. It is an opportunity for parish communities to stand in solidarity with those who serve the Church, recognizing that addiction and mental health challenges can affect lives and ministries at every level. Through the work of Guest House, thousands have found recovery and renewal, and parishioners are invited to offer their prayerful and financial support to this vital mission.

From SilencetoSupport.com is a Catholic faith-based recovery initiative offered by Guest House that provides education, awareness, and practical resources on addiction for parishioners, clergy, and church leaders. Rooted in the Church’s healing mission, the program helps communities better understand addiction as a treatable illness and equips parish leaders to respond with compassion, knowledge, and faith-centered support. By strengthening parish-based conversations and encouraging accompaniment, From Silence to Support invites individuals and families affected by addiction to move from isolation toward hope, healing, and recovery within the life of the Church.

“I believe the one imperative to happy, permanent, effective sobriety for anyone is the simple virtue of gratitude.
Gratitude is the memory of the heart—that quality which enables us to double our blessings by sharing with one another.
It is the golden tray on which we give to one another the things we have received from God.”
