On May 30th 2019 St. John Council 11281 Naples conducted it's annual Vocations Dinner for Seminarians and Honored Monsignor Robert J Coll on his 60th Anniversary as a Priest. Ten Seminarians of the Diocese of Venice are sponsored by Council 11281 each year, providing over $10,000 each year to help with their costs on their Journey to become a priest. This years Dinner/Dance raised $9,0000.00 to help in that assistance

Most Rev. William A. Wack, Bishop of Pensacola-Tallahassee ordained five new deacons Saturday, June 8th at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Pensacola. Three of the five are Knights active in their respective councils. The new deacons include, from left, Thomas Elsesser, Father Howard J. Lesch Council 7667, Niceville; Daniel Dailey, Our Lady of Victory Council 7968, Crestview, Bishop Wack, (a 4th degree Knight), and Jonathan Ignacio, Santa Maria Council 7402, Cantonment.

Florida State Council for Knights of Columbus name James and Rosemary Coon as Family of the Year Orlando – Dr. James and Rosemarie Coon of Lakewood Ranch were selected as the 2019 “Family of the Year” on Saturday evening by the 55,000-member Florida State Council of the Knights of Columbus at the State Convention held here. The couple was selected in recognition of their exceptional service to their community, their church and to the Knights of Columbus.
