Prison Ministry Torch Retreat and Prayer Chain
We will be orchestrating a weekend for these men on Friday, Oct 4th through Sunday, Oct. 6th. There will be a closing ceremony on Sunday,, from 3:45 PM to 5:45 PM,
to which you are invited and more than welcome to attend. I think you will be inspired and impressed when you see how our Lord works in their lives.
Please let me know if you would like to attend and I will submit your names and provide further details.
During the course of the weekend, we try to get people to pray for these young men for each hour of the weekend. To that end, I ask that you access the enclosed
website and sign up for a period of time. Just copy and paste into your browser. I am only sending this to people who I know will participate in this "prayer chain"
and have a special relationship with our Lord. In the name of Jesus, I thank you in advance.

Men and young men of the parish are needed to move everything from storage in the Quonset Hut to the Midway, put up fencing and set-up the bar and food booth. Work will begin at 9:00 a.m. and lunch will be provided. Some of it is strenuous work, but much of it is not – like stringing and tying-up plastic snow fence and barrier tape. Wear sturdy shoes and bring gloves, although some will be provided. No need to call or sign-up, just show up.
